MetaQueue Home

The MetaQueue Application Framework is the most flexible, scalable, and secure solution available today for building J2EE applications quickly and at low cost.

MetaQueue's Application Framework is distributed as a Java JAR file which contains classes that enable developers to quickly create multi-threaded service processes. We call the realized application an Application Node. An Application Node may be deployed as a standalone application server or as a component to an existing application server, giving it additional functionality for example, as a Model 2 View Controller, or a Web Service Object Broker.

The most powerful feature of the Application Node is its ability to locate, access and invoke MetaQueue.NET Web services using the (patent pending) QueueBus technology. QueueBus is an Object Bus which supports dynamic provisioning of services to an Application Node. Services are provided by MetaQueue.NET, or by a MetaQueue.NET service provider.

Some of the features of the Application Node can be summarized as follows:

- XHTML (Model 2) View Controller
- XML, SOAP, UDDI, and WSDL support
- Business Objects as Session Facade
- Business Delegate
- Service Locator
- Object Request Broker (ORB)
- QueueBus Proxies
- Object-Relational Mapping
- Database Connection Pool
- Data Access Objects
- Object Cache
- Object Queue
- Message Oriented Services
- Event Oriented Services
- Event Driven Finite State Machines
- Object Aware Event Logging
- Asynchronous Timer Services
- SSL Socket Server
- TCP Socket Server
- Short Message Service (SMS) modem support
